Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly proficient Remote Electrical Design Engineer to join a global renewable energy engineering team. You will design electrical systems for solar, wind, and hybrid installations, and develop schematics, wiring layouts, and component specs using CAD software.

The role requires at least 6 years of experience in electrical design, a strong understanding of AC/DC systems and grid connection requirements, and excellent communication for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of progressive electrical design experience.
• Experience with power systems or renewables.
• Remote collaboration and international projects.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for renewable energy projects globally.
• Create schematics, single-line diagrams, layouts, and specs using CAD.
• Perform load, fault current, and protection coordination analyses.
• Collaborate remotely with international teams.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and client requirements.
• Research new technologies to improve performance and cost.
• Support procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Prepare technical reports and design review materials.
• Contribute to design process improvements.
