Placements24 is seeking a Remote Electrical Engineer specializing in Renewable Energy to design, develop, and optimize solar and wind projects from home. You will work with distributed teams to deliver grid-ready solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in renewable energy, strong electrical design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, PVSyst, and PSCAD. Excellent communication in a remote setup is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
7+ years in renewable energy with strong electrical design.
Experience with solar PV and/or wind energy design.
Proficiency in CAD/electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, PVSyst, PSCAD).
Knowledge of grid interconnection, power electronics, and battery storage.
Excellent communication for remote work.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for renewable energy projects (solar PV farms, wind installations).
Perform calculations and simulations for grid interconnection, protection, and storage.
Develop schematics and single-line diagrams using CAD software.
Analyze performance data and propose efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with project managers and external stakeholders via virtual platforms.
Ensure designs comply with electrical codes and renewable standards.
