Placements24 is seeking a Remote Electrical Design Engineer focused on renewable energy projects. You will design electrical schematics and BOMs for solar, wind, and battery storage systems, performing sizing calculations and ensuring grid interconnection compliance.

This fully remote role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and CAD/software proficiency. You will collaborate digitally with a dispersed team to deliver high-performance, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical design, renewables focus.
• Proficient with CAD software and energy-system simulations.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics and layouts for renewables (PV, inverters, storage).
• Perform sizing calculations, protection, and grid interconnection.
• Develop detailed BOMs and technical specs for components.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regs.
• Provide technical support during procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers via digital platforms.
