Placements24 is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Remote Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator to join our virtual operations team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to manage transportation activities from your home office, ideally located within or near Vereeniging, Gauteng.

You will coordinate driver schedules, manage routes, and ensure smooth flow of goods across our network. A proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and communication skills, experience with logistics

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize daily dispatch schedules for a fleet of drivers across various operational areas.
• Manage and monitor delivery routes using advanced logistics software, ensuring efficiency and timely arrivals.
• Communicate effectively with drivers via phone, email, and messaging platforms to provide updates, instructions, and support.
• Track shipment progress and proactively address any potential delays or issues that may arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver performance, and delivery confirmations in the system.
• Liaise with clients and internal departments to resolve logistical queries and provide status updates.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies, remotely.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing solutions to improve service delivery.
• Generate reports on dispatch efficiency, delivery times, and driver performance for management review.
• Support the onboarding and training of new remote dispatch personnel as needed.
