Placements24 is seeking a talented Digital Marketing Strategist to join their team. Based remotely in South Africa, you will develop and execute integrated digital strategies across e-commerce, social media, search, and email to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales.

You will analyze market trends, set KPIs, manage agencies, collaborate with web, product, and sales teams, and optimize conversions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing strategy development and execution.
• Proven track record of success with integrated digital marketing campaigns (e-commerce & social).
• Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing and social media best practices.
• Proficiency with analytics platforms and marketing automation tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to support e-commerce growth and brand objectives.
• Oversee SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and threats.
• Define KPIs for campaigns and track performance against metrics.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors for high-quality execution.
• Collaborate with web development, product management, and sales for cohesive digital experiences.
• Develop creative briefs and guide the development of engaging digital content and advertising materials.
• Optimize website UX and conversion funnels with the UX/UI team.
• Prepare regular reports on digital marketing performance and provide strategic recommendations.
