Placements24 is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our remote ecommerce marketing initiatives across South Africa. You will craft and execute data-driven strategies to drive online sales, grow the brand, and optimize the customer journey across all digital touchpoints.

The role requires expertise in SEM, SEO, social media, email, and content marketing, plus strong analytics and automation skills. You will work with content, development, and design teams to deliver compelling campaigns,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of digital marketing experience with e-commerce and performance focus.
• Proven track record in building and executing digital strategies that grow online sales.
• Expertise across SEM, SEO, social media, email, and content marketing.
• Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue for e-commerce channels.
• Manage and optimize paid campaigns across SEM and social channels; include display and affiliates.
• Oversee SEO to improve organic rankings and qualified traffic.
• Create and execute email marketing campaigns focusing on leads, retention, and promotions.
• Manage social media presence to build brand community and drive sales.
• Analyze website/user behavior and conversion rates using Google Analytics; provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and designers to produce digital assets.
• Stay updated on FMCG/e-commerce trends and best practices; optimize ROI of budgets.
• Conduct A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve performance and UX.
