Placements24 is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join their fully remote team. You will be the primary contact for customers, delivering timely responses and turning inquiries into solutions from a Johannesburg base.

You'll troubleshoot, document interactions in the CRM, and collaborate with product teams to enhance the customer experience in a remote-first culture that values clear communication and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer support or helpdesk role, preferably remote.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with de-escalation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and ticketing systems.
• Strong problem-solving and a patient, customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further customer service certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely, professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, product questions, and general requests.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
• Escalate complex issues to internal teams for resolution.
