Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Corporate Catering Coordinator to manage catering logistics for meetings, events, and daily office needs across South Africa. This fully remote role requires you to coordinate menus, orders, and delivery while maintaining client satisfaction.

You will work with partner caterers, ensure dietary restrictions are met, and track orders using CRM tools. Strong communication, independence, and organizational skills are essential to deliver seamless service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of catering coordination, event planning, or hospitality management with corporate clients.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics and multiple concurrent projects.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented and self-disciplined.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for professional remote interactions.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools, CRM systems, and Office suites.
• Strong understanding of food safety and handling protocols is beneficial.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
• Ability to work independently with high productivity in a remote setting.
• Customer-centric approach with commitment to service excellence.
• Legal authorization to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients regarding their catering needs.
• Coordinate the selection and ordering of menus from a curated list of partner caterers, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are met.
• Manage delivery logistics, including scheduling, confirming delivery windows, and coordinating with caterers and client contacts.
• Ensure timely and accurate setup of catering orders at client locations or for virtual events.
• Address client inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders or deliveries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain detailed records of client orders, preferences, and feedback using designated software.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, aiming for repeat business and exceptional satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance the client experience.
• Stay informed about corporate event trends and catering best practices.
• Process invoices and ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
