Placements24 seeks a highly organized Remote Catering Operations Coordinator to support logistics for events nationwide, with a focus on Gauteng region. This fully remote role lets you manage scheduling, supplier communications, deliveries, and troubleshooting from home.

You will collaborate with sales, kitchen, and on-site staff via digital tools, maintain records, and develop workflows to ensure smooth service delivery across locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or operations support.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for virtual collaboration.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced remote work environment.
• Stable home office setup and reliable internet.
• Experience with catering software or event platforms is a plus.
• Familiar with Gauteng service delivery context preferred.
• High school diploma; business or hospitality qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering event logistics remotely, including scheduling and timelines.
• Manage supplier communications and order fulfilment.
• Monitor inventory and equipment status and coordinate replenishment.
• Develop and refine operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports.
