Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a fully remote Catering Service Coordinator in South Africa to manage logistics, client communications, and end-to-end event execution from inquiry through delivery and service. You will orchestrate between clients, the kitchen team, and drivers to ensure seamless experiences for each event.

As the central liaison, you will maintain CRM records, process invoicing, and build strong client relationships that drive repeat business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in coordination, logistics or client service, preferably catering or hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication, courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing inquiries and bookings.
• Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menus, delivery, staffing and setup.
• Liaise with kitchen production to ensure timely preparation and order fulfillment.
• Manage delivery logistics with drivers and ensure punctual service.
• Troubleshoot issues before, during, or after events to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate client records and event details in the CRM.
• Process client payments and manage invoicing promptly.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Identify upsell opportunities and suggest complementary offerings.
• Stay updated on industry trends to enhance service delivery.
