Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a talented Chemical Process Engineer for a remote-first role. You will design, analyze, and improve chemical processes, build PFDs and P&IDs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, 3–5 years of experience, proficiency with process simulation software and MS Office, and strong analytical and communication skills for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of experience in process engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize PFDs and P&IDs for chemical processes.
• Perform mass and energy balances and equipment sizing.
• Conduct PHAs and implement safety recommendations.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful execution and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
