Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who own the top of the funnel, researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers and booking qualified meetings with potential clients.

We value 2 years in an SDR/BDR role and strong written communication, with familiarity using outbound tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Navigator. This is a remote role within South Africa.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred.
• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and personalization skills.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
