Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative across South Africa, based in Ballito. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

Role requires 2 years in SDR/BDR, strong writing, and experience with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce. Full-time, remote from SA.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred.
• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
