Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, and maintain CRM discipline to fuel our pipeline with high-quality opportunities.

Ideal candidates bring 2 years in SDR/BDR roles (agency or SaaS a plus), strong written communication, and familiarity with tools like Sales

Qualifications

2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role (agency or SaaS a plus).
B2B sales experience preferred.
Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback with the sales team.
