Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Automotive Systems Integrator in South Africa to join an advanced engineering team. You will focus on integration and validation of complex automotive electronic systems from powertrain to infotainment and ADAS.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of automotive architectures, protocols, and system-level testing, with proven remote collaboration skills to drive successful integration projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Significant experience in automotive system integration, validation, or testing.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and FlexRay.
• Experience with simulation tools and virtual validation environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation is desirable.
• Excellent remote collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate automotive electronic systems (ECUs, sensors, actuators) in a virtual environment.
• Define and execute system-level test plans; analyze results to identify issues and meet performance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues from interaction of multiple vehicle subsystems.
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams and suppliers using remote tools.
• Develop and maintain system integration documentation and test procedures.
• Contribute to improving integration processes and methodologies.
