Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Automotive Systems Engineer to lead the development and integration of sophisticated vehicle systems. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa , contributing to innovative automotive projects from concept to production. You will be responsible for defining system requirements, designing system architectures, and overseeing the integration of hardware and software components. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of automotive engineering principles and excellent skills in managing complex projects remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Define system requirements, specifications, and architecture for automotive subsystems and components.
• Oversee the integration of hardware and software components, ensuring seamless interaction and functionality.
• Develop and execute system-level validation and verification plans to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and testing specialists, using remote collaboration tools.
• Identify and resolve complex system-level issues through rigorous analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of system engineering processes and methodologies for automotive applications.

Requirements
