Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Systems Engineer to contribute to innovative projects from a remote location, servicing the Mahikeng region. You will lead the integration, validation, and optimization of automotive subsystems across powertrain, chassis, electronics, and software.

With 7+ years in automotive systems engineering, you will define requirements, manage MBSE-driven integration plans, and mentor junior engineers in a remote environment, ensuring performance and quality

Qualifications

• 7+ years in automotive systems engineering, focusing on integration and validation.
• Proven expertise in powertrain, chassis, body electronics, or ADAS domains.
• Familiar with MBSE and tools like DOORS and Cameo.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define system-level requirements, architecture, and specifications for subsystems.
• Develop and manage system integration plans across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines.
• Oversee validation and verification of integrated systems with testing and analysis.
• Identify and resolve complex system-level issues with component engineers.
• Create and maintain system documentation (requirements, ICDs, and test reports).
• Mentor junior engineers in a remote framework.
