Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Account Manager to manage key client relationships across South Africa. This fully remote role focuses on driving satisfaction, product adoption, and growth for a portfolio of customers from a virtual setting.

You will lead strategic account plans, conduct business reviews, and collaborate with sales, support, and product teams to meet client needs and maximize value. A strong track record in client retention and growth is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role, with a strong track record of retention and growth.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, suitable for remote interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Proficiency in CRM software and account management tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
• Develop and implement account strategies to maximize client retention and revenue growth.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
• Proactively address client needs and resolve any issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Educate clients on new product features and best practices to drive engagement and value.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, support, product) to advocate for client needs.
