Placements24 is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel focused on Compliance and Regulatory matters in Paarl. The role ensures operations adhere to laws and industry regulations, with responsibility for implementing compliance programs and advising on regulatory changes.

The ideal candidate is an Admitted Attorney with at least five years in compliance or related legal fields, capable of leading investigations, trainings, and risk management across the organization. Flexible remote options available.

Formación

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related legal fields.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for training and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
• Advise business units on compliance requirements and best practices.
• Conduct internal investigations and audits related to regulatory compliance.
• Interpret and advise on the impact of new or revised legislation and regulations.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting.
• Provide training to employees on compliance matters and ethical conduct.
