The role involves building and maintaining robust compliance programs, advising on risk management, and ensuring adherence to national and international regulations from a remote setting.

Ideal candidates are admitted attorneys with 7+ years in compliance and regulatory law, knowledgeable in SA governance, data protection, and anti-bribery matters.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with 7+ years in compliance/regulatory law.
• Strong knowledge of SA corporate governance and data protection laws.
• Experience implementing compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance programs across the organization.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and advise on policy updates.
• Conduct internal investigations and audits to ensure adherence to standards.
• Provide guidance on data privacy, anti-bribery, sanctions and other regulatory matters.
• Train employees on compliance policies and procedures.
• Manage regulatory reporting and liaise with government authorities.
