The ideal candidate is Admitted Attorney of the High Court with 8+ years of SA regulatory experience, proficient in data privacy, anti-corruption, and corporate governance, capable of advising management and leading

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with a minimum of 8 years of experience, specializing in compliance, risk management, or corporate governance.
• Strong understanding of South African regulatory frameworks relevant to the company's industry.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and a proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory obligations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential legal and operational risks.
• Advise management and business units on compliance matters, including data privacy, anti-corruption, and industry-specific regulations.
• Manage internal investigations and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Stay abreast of evolving legal and regulatory changes and advise on necessary adjustments to company practices.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees across the organization.
