You will develop compliance programs, monitor legal changes, train staff, liaise with regulators, and manage licensing. An admitted attorney with 7+ years' regulatory experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with at least 7 years of regulatory experience.
• Deep knowledge of South African laws relevant to the industry.
• Proven ability to design and implement compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain regulatory compliance programs and policies.
• Monitor changes in laws and advise on necessary adjustments.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
• Provide legal training to employees on regulatory requirements.
• Investigate compliance breaches and manage disciplinary actions.
• Liaise with regulators and external legal counsel on compliance matters.
