Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel with a strong background in Regulatory Compliance to join the team on a fully remote basis. You will monitor national and international regulatory changes, advise stakeholders, and shape the company’s compliance programs to minimize legal exposure across diverse operations.

The ideal candidate is admitted in the High Court of South Africa with at least six years of experience in regulatory compliance or corporate governance, and possesses

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance or corporate governance.
• Deep knowledge of SA legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on compliance strategies.
• Develop and maintain robust compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for breaches.
