Placements24 is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead the sales operations in Welkom, Free State. This leadership role involves guiding a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and driving regional revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will motivate teams to hit ambitious targets, shape the department's direction, and foster a high-performance culture while ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in managing and motivating sales teams to achieve targets.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and CRM systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to relocate to Welkom; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives for the Free State region.
• Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales volume, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for expansion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
• Oversee the negotiation and closing of major deals.
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align sales and company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical sales practices.
• Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel.
