Placements24 is seeking a Regional Retail Sales Lead to oversee and drive sales across multiple stores in the Mahikeng, North West region. You will develop regional strategies, coach store managers, analyze market trends, and ensure brand standards are consistently applied.

The ideal candidate has extensive retail sales leadership experience, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to inspire teams to reach ambitious targets while traveling within the region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in retail management, with multi-store/regional exposure.
• Proven track record of sales growth and operational excellence in retail.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
• Excellent understanding of retail sales principles, merchandising, inventory, and customer service.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in retail management software and sales reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the Mahikeng region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve targets across designated stores.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to store managers in the region.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Ensure consistent brand standards, merchandising, and operational procedures across stores.
• Foster a high-performing sales culture focused on customer engagement and experience.
• Oversee inventory management and store operational efficiency to maximize profitability.
• Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews to provide support and guidance.
• Collaborate with head office (marketing, operations, HR) to align regional initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and develop store management teams within the region.
• Report regional performance, forecasts, and key initiatives to senior management.
