Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in retail operations management, with at least 3 years in a multi-site or regional management role.
• Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and driving profitability.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control and loss prevention.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in retail management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to travel frequently within the region and occasionally to other locations.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and strategic Regional Retail Operations Manager to oversee and optimize retail operations across multiple stores in the Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal area and surrounding regions. This leadership role is critical for ensuring operational efficiency, driving profitability, and maintaining consistent brand standards across all designated locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and team leadership, with a proven ability to implement and manage operational strategies. This position requires a dynamic individual who can analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in the company's expansion and success within the KwaZulu-Natal province. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience in the specific retail sector of our client is highly desirable.
• Residency or strong ties to the Richards Bay area or ability to relocate is preferred.
