Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking an Area Manager (External Applications Only) to protect and grow market share and ensure profitable operations across a division. You will drive strategic plans, monitor performance against budgets, and lead store teams in service delivery and asset control.

The role requires Grade 12, 5+ years of retail management, travel willingness, strong accounting, HR and leadership skills, and solid computer literacy. A valid driver’s license and own transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with at least 5 years retail management experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Must have strong accounting skills and leadership ability.
• Must be computer literate and have OHSA knowledge.
• Must have strong HR skills and good administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage a strategic plan for the division aligned with Operations strategy.
• Grow transactions, sales and market share and achieve budgets and growth.
• Manage customer service strategy and delivery by stores within the division.
• Control assets, shrinkage, stock and finance in stores across the division.
• Lead manpower planning, succession planning and employee relations by store.
• Ensure store standards, housekeeping, merchandising policies and safety compliance.
