Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa. The role focuses on opening doors, researching ideal accounts, and booking discovery calls to drive pipeline. You will own outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone, while maintaining clean Salesforce and SalesLoft records.

The role requires 2 years in SDR/BDR, B2B sales experience, and the ability to personalize outreach. Experience with Outreach tools and a quota-bearing background are a plus.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
