Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to source ideal accounts, identify decision makers and craft personalized outbound sequences across South Africa. You will book discovery calls and maintain clean Salesforce/SalesLoft records while collaborating with the sales team.

The role emphasizes outbound outreach, pattern recognition and high-quality touchpoints, with strong emphasis on personalisation and data-driven targeting.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred; open to full-cycle closers with quotas.
• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
