Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking discovery meetings for Account Executives.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR, strong writing skills, and familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and ZoomInfo. Remote work within SA with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Experience using Salesforce and managing pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalised outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
