Responsibilities

• Receive incoming fruit and produce deliveries, checking quantities and accompanying documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate and monitor the dispatch of outgoing orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Capture and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock on the computer system.
• Verify delivery notes, dispatch documents and other relevant administrative paperwork.
• Monitor stock movements and assist with stock reconciliations, reporting any discrepancies.
• Liaise with suppliers, drivers, warehouse staff and internal departments regarding deliveries and collections.
• Ensure orders are correctly recorded and documentation is filed.
• Assist with coordination of daily receiving and dispatch activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks timeously.
• Adhere to company procedures, food safety requirements and health and safety standards.
• Maintain an organised and professional working environment.
• Provide general administrative support to receiving and dispatch functions.
