Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a leading investment group with a significant property portfolio across South Africa, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee their assets in the Mossel Bay, Western Cape, ZA region. This critical role involves managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties, focusing on maximizing returns, optimizing asset performance, and ensuring effective property management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of real estate finance, market analysis, and property operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing portfolio strategies, managing tenant relations, overseeing maintenance and capital expenditure projects, and reporting on portfolio performance to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for the real estate portfolio to achieve investment objectives, including capital growth and rental income.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of properties, including leasing, tenant relations, and rent collection.
• Conduct regular market analysis to assess portfolio performance, identify risks, and uncover new investment opportunities.
• Manage property budgets, including operational expenses, capital expenditures, and leasing costs.
• Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects, ensuring properties are well-maintained and meet market standards.
• Negotiate lease agreements and service contracts with tenants and third-party vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate portfolio management, asset management, or property management.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance reporting for real estate portfolios.
