Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality and Process Engineer to join its Port Elizabeth team. You will develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems, drive process improvements, and ensure production meets ISO 9001 standards while maximizing efficiency.

The role collaborates with production, engineering, and R&D, uses Lean Six Sigma, SPC and FMEA, and offers growth through training and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Quality Engineering.
Minimum 4 years in quality/process engineering in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
Proficient in SPC, FMEA and process optimization.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain quality management systems (QMS) for production.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
Design and execute process validation studies for reliability.
Monitor quality metrics and production indicators.
Collaborate with production, engineering and R&D to embed quality in new products.
Apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive improvements.
