Job summary
Placements24 seeks an Operations Excellence Engineer to drive Lean and Six Sigma improvements at our Port Elizabeth facilities. You will work with production teams, analyze performance data, and implement strategic changes to boost efficiency and product quality.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, at least six years of experience in operations or process improvement, and Green Belt certification or equivalent expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Six years of experience in operations, process improvement, or industrial engineering.
- Green Belt certification or equivalent experience in Lean Six Sigma.
Responsibilities
- Lead Lean Manufacturing programs across operational departments.
- Conduct process audits to identify waste and inefficiencies in Port Elizabeth operations.
- Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to track performance and report progress.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to engage employees in improvement activities.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and methodologies to enhance capabilities and quality.
