About the Role

Our client, a leading property investment firm with a significant presence in George , Western Cape, is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and dedicated Property Portfolio Manager. This role is pivotal in overseeing and optimizing the performance of a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management principles, financial acumen, and exceptional leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the profitability and sustainability of the assets under your management, liaising directly with tenants, property owners, and service providers. This is a challenging yet rewarding position for a strategic thinker who is passionate about maximising property value and maintaining high tenant satisfaction in the dynamic George property market. You will play a key role in strategic decision-making for property acquisitions, disposals, and development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of commercial, industrial, and residential properties in and around George .
• Developing and implementing strategic asset management plans to enhance property value and rental income.
• Overseeing property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and capital expenditure projects.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, leases, and contractual obligations.
• Tenant liaison, including lease negotiation, rent collection, and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Property Studies, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in property management, asset management, or portfolio management, preferably within the George region.
• Proven track record in managing diverse property portfolios and achieving financial targets.
• Strong understanding of property valuation, market analysis, and investment principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and financial modelling tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.
