Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Property Portfolio Manager in George, Western Cape, to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties. You will drive asset strategy, optimise rental income, and supervise maintenance, budgets, and compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in property/asset management with strong leadership, negotiation, and financial analysis skills; a relevant degree is essential. Local market knowledge and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

Degree in Property Studies, Finance, Business Management or related field.
7+ years in property/asset/portfolio management with proven targets.
Strong negotiation and communication skills; leadership capability.
Knowledge of valuation, market analysis and investment principles.
Proficiency in property software and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

Oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial and residential properties.
Develop strategic asset management plans to boost value and rental income.
Manage operations, maintenance, and CAPEX projects.
Ensure compliance with leases, legislation, and contracts.
Liaise with tenants, owners, and service providers; negotiate leases.
Monitor budgets, reporting, and performance analysis.
Conduct inspections and valuations; identify new opportunities.
Build relationships with external contractors, agents and advisers.
Report portfolio performance to senior management.
