About the Role

Our client is a reputable property management company operating in Vereeniging, Gauteng, seeking a skilled and proactive Property Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing a mixed portfolio of commercial and residential properties, ensuring optimal performance, tenant satisfaction, and asset value preservation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management principles, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to maintaining high standards of service in Gauteng region. You will play a key role in the day-to-day operations, tenant relations, and financial management of the properties under your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Vereeniging, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.
• Oversee tenant relations, including lease enforcement, rent collection, and dispute resolution.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects, managing vendor relationships and contracts.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including budgets, variance analyses, and occupancy reports for property owners.
• Market vacant units, screen potential tenants, and process lease agreements.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and emergencies promptly and professionally.

• Assist with the development and implementation of property management strategies to enhance asset value and profitability in Gauteng.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in property management, preferably with exposure to both commercial and residential properties.
