Casidra in Paarl seeks a Procurement Administrator to provide efficient, compliant procurement administration through sourcing, supplier management and RFQ/bid handling. You will ensure budget checks, record-keeping and timely processing.

The role reports to the Supply Chain Manager. Candidates should have a tertiary qualification in procurement or SCM and at least three years' experience in a public sector or regulated environment, with PFMA knowledge and strong admin skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Procurement, SCM or related field.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in procurement administration or similar role.
• Experience in a financial, compliance-driven or SCM environment.
• Public sector or state-owned entity experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of PFMA and applicable financial regulations and SCM policies.
• Computer literacy with ability to maintain electronic procurement records.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence.

Responsabilités

• Receive, review and process procurement requests to ensure completeness, budget availability and compliance.
• Source quotations from suppliers on the relevant supplier database.
• Facilitate quotation process and submit quotations for order processing.
• Allocate and maintain procurement requisition records and ensure timely processing.
• Capture delivery notes and maintain records of goods and services received.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Assist with supplier enquiries and procurement-related queries and keep records updated.
• Assist with RFQ and bid documentation and submit on platforms.
• Maintain procurement records for reporting, audit and compliance purposes.
• Ensure PFMA compliance and provide administrative support to management and stakeholders.
