Job summary

Freudenberg in South Africa is seeking a detail-oriented procurement professional to manage info records and purchase orders. You will verify and enter order confirmations, adjust quantities and delivery dates as needed, and ensure timely processing of invoices.

You will track deliveries, maintain low stock levels, and manage intercompany orders with QA and suppliers to uphold OTD commitments. The role requires accuracy and cross-functional coordination within the Freudenberg group.

Qualifications

• Formal training or work experience in procurement or logistics.
• Experience with purchase orders and invoicing is preferred.
• Attention to accuracy and delivery dates is essential.

Responsibilities

• Creates purchase orders for info records in the system.
• Verifies and enters order confirmations (quantities and delivery date).
• Adjusts order quantity and delivery date when needed.
• Adjusts purchase orders when confirmations are released by the commodity buyer.
• Verifies invoices (quantity variance) and releases them as required.
• Tracks deliveries and conducts dunning if necessary.
• Ensures compliance with OTD and maintains low stock levels.
• Executes intercompany orders including deposits of info records.
• Forwards Q-notifications to QA and suppliers and tracks status.

• T riggers purchase orders for info records stored in the system
• Verifies and enters order confirmations (quantities and delivery date). If necessary, adjusts the order quantity and delivery date
• If the order confirmation is released by the commodity buyer, adjust the purchase order.
• Verifies the invoices (quantity variance) and releases them if necessary.
• Tracks the deliveries (dunning if necessary)
• Ensures compliance with OTD and a low stock level
• Executes the intercompany order including deposit of the info record
• Forwards and tracks Q-notifications internally with quality assurance and externally to the supplier
