Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a reputable financial services institution in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, to recruit a Project Manager specializing in Business Process Improvement. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce costs through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities include mapping processes, developing comprehensive project plans, managing risks, and facilitating change across departments while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in project management with focus on business process improvement or operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or related methodologies.
• Experience mapping and redesigning processes using Visio, Lucidchart, or PM software.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, analysis, and redesign of business processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resources.
• Manage cross-functional teams implementing process changes and improvements.
• Use BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma to document current and future state processes.
• Identify KPIs to measure success of process improvements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed changes.
• Manage project risks and ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption.
• Facilitate workshops and training for new processes.
• Communicate progress and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
