Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Randburg, Gauteng, ZA to drive major business process improvements across departments. The role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, designing optimized processes, and leading change initiatives with strong stakeholder influence.

You will manage cross-functional teams, develop detailed project plans, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering cost savings and operational enhancements in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience with BPM focus.
• Experience leading complex process re-engineering in financial services.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio) and PM software.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Randburg environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document current processes to identify improvements.
• Design and implement optimized processes leveraging technology and best practices.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage change initiatives, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of implemented process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
