Placements24 is seeking a skilled Process Design Chemical Engineer to join our Kimberley-based engineering team. You will develop conceptual process designs and P&IDs for new plants and process modifications, while performing simulations to optimize performance.

Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, you will specify major equipment and ensure safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence in challenging chemical process projects within the Northern Cape region.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in process design and engineering.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals and design principles.
• Experience with P&ID development and equipment sizing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled Process Design Chemical Engineer to join their engineering team in Kimberley . This role is central to the conceptualization and development of new chemical processes and plant designs, as well as the modification and improvement of existing facilities. You will utilize your expertise in process simulation, P&ID development, and equipment specification to translate conceptual ideas into detailed engineering designs. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer who enjoys creative problem-solving and wants to contribute to impactful projects in the chemical manufacturing sector within the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities
