Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in process design engineering, preferably in chemical or petrochemical industries.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction kinetics.
• Experience in PFD and P&ID development is essential.
• Knowledge of process safety principles and applicable regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications.
• Utilise process simulation software to model and analyze process performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new processes and modifications.
• Collaborate with R&D, project engineering, and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Perform root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
