Job summary

Daisy Business Solutions in Free State, Bethlehem, is seeking a Print and Telco Field Service Technician to service client devices onsite and ensure optimal performance. You will troubleshoot a range of devices, support firmware updates, and handle installations while maintaining stock accuracy.

The role requires hands-on experience with printers and copiers, strong customer service and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Two years' experience in office automation/printing field
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
• Experience with field service and on-site visits
• Good time management and communication skills
• Familiarity with stock management and consumables

Responsibilities

• Service client devices onsite, ensuring optimal performance
• Perform logical troubleshooting on a wide range of client devices
• Carry out IT-related troubleshooting and software support, including firmware updates and device installations
• Troubleshoot hardware issues on Copiers and Printers
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimise client failures
• Complete calls within SLA and maintain quality standards
• Manage boot stock of toners and spares, submit job sheets, and ensure stock accuracy
• Conduct monthly stock takes and operate the mobile app (Tech Connect) efficiently

• Experience in backstock management

Familiarity with the following:
