Job summary

Daisy Business Solutions in Free State, Bethlehem, is seeking a Print and Telco Field Service Technician to service client devices onsite and ensure optimal performance. You will troubleshoot a range of devices, support firmware updates, and handle installations while maintaining stock accuracy.

The role requires hands-on experience with printers and copiers, strong customer service and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent
Two years' experience in office automation/printing field
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and own transport
Experience with field service and on-site visits
Good time management and communication skills
Familiarity with stock management and consumables

Responsibilities

Service client devices onsite, ensuring optimal performance
Perform logical troubleshooting on a wide range of client devices
Carry out IT-related troubleshooting and software support, including firmware updates and device installations
Troubleshoot hardware issues on Copiers and Printers
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimise client failures
Complete calls within SLA and maintain quality standards
Manage boot stock of toners and spares, submit job sheets, and ensure stock accuracy
Conduct monthly stock takes and operate the mobile app (Tech Connect) efficiently
