Job summary

Outsource-X Pty is seeking a Portuguese-written Customer Support Agent in Somerset West, Western Cape. You will be the first point of contact for Portuguese-speaking clients and work in a multinational environment alongside colleagues speaking French, German, Dutch, Italian, and English.

The role requires 1-2 years in customer support, Portuguese level C1/C2 and English level B2. Working hours are 09:00–18:00, with shift rotation, and the position is in-office.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in customer support or client-facing roles, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Portuguese language at C1/C2 level and English at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming client contacts and escalations with compassion and proactivity.
• Process client-generated and internal service requests within specified delivery times.
• Provide administrative support to certify client details and update information in the client database.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader.

Job Description and Duties

As a Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for supply and demand-related customer support inquiries for our Portuguese -speaking clients. The ideal candidate will be an effectivecommunicator, an analytical problem solver, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be joining a fantastic multinational team, working alongside French, German, Dutch, Italian , and English Agents.

Client Spec:

UK-based SaaS client, very dynamic, and fun with a huge emphasis on staff well-being.

Responsibilities:

Manage incoming client contacts and escalations with compassion and proactivity in order to prioritize their needs and provide unique solutions to problems.

Process both client-generated and internally generated service request tickets within specified delivery times.

Administrative support to certify client details and alter any incorrect information within our stakeholder’s client database.

Flexibility to take on additional tasks as directed by Team Leader.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer support or client-facing roles, preferably in a multinational environment.

Required Language Thresholds:

Portuguese (Level C1/C2)

English (Level B2)

The position is in office.
