Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or a similar operational role.
- Proficiency in process mapping, simulation tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a strong asset.
- Good understanding of production planning and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing production layouts, material flow, and equipment utilization within the Polokwane plant.
- Conduct detailed time studies and capacity analyses to support production planning and resource allocation.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to implement new process technologies and operational changes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures and performance metrics.
