Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in plant maintenance and mechanical engineering within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance budgets and control costs.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant machinery.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and overhaul of mechanical equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections of plant machinery to identify potential issues and implement timely corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to mechanical operations.
