Placements24 is seeking a diligent HR Generalist with payroll expertise for our client in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will process payroll, maintain HR records, and administer benefits while supporting recruitment and employee relations.

The role requires SA payroll knowledge, strong data accuracy, and compliance with BCEA/LRA/EEA/COIDA. On-site work in Gauteng with collaboration across finance and management teams.

Formación

• 3–5 years HR experience with payroll focus.
• Experience with South African payroll legislation and tax.
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (Sage, VIP Payroll).
• Strong data management and confidentiality.
• Relevant HR qualification/certification is highly desirable.
• Legal eligibility to work in South Africa.

Responsabilidades

• Process payroll accurately and bi-weekly/monthly, in compliance with SA laws.
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity.
• Administer benefits programs (medical aid, provident fund, leave).
• Assist recruitment and onboarding; prepare offers.
• Handle employee relations and provide guidance to management.
• Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, EEA, COIDA.
• Generate HR reports and analyze turnover and headcount.
• Support HR Manager on projects and liaise with payroll providers.
