Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent in HR, Accounting or related field.
• Min 3 years HR administration with payroll and benefits focus in South Africa.
• Proficient with payroll software and HRIS; knowledgeable of PAYE, UIF and SDL.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and in line with SA legislation.
• Maintain employee data in HRIS and payroll system with accuracy.
• Administer benefits programs including medical, retirement, and group insurance.
• Handle new hires, terminations and data changes with proper documentation.
• Respond to payroll and benefits queries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory payroll requirements.
• Generate payroll and benefits reports for management and finance.
• Assist with reconciliation of payroll and benefit accounts.
• Support HR team with general administrative tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of all employee and payroll information.
